- Align your idea to standards & impact: Define student outcomes (STEM skills, NGSS alignment, equity, career connections).
- Find the right program: Use Grants.gov and Assistance Listings.
- Check eligibility & partners: Confirm if your district must apply; line up fiscal agents and letters of support early.
- Draft your narrative: Need, goals, activities, timeline, evaluation, budget & sustainability.
- Register early: UEI/SAM and Grants.gov registration can take time; coordinate with your district grants office.
- Submit & track: Use your district’s GMS or Grants.gov Workspace to submit and monitor status.
